Ben Kingsley

Kingsley, Scarborough, Yorkshire'de doğmuştu ve Pendlebury'de büyüdü. Salford Üniversitesi'nde öğrenim gördü. Daha sonra Lancashire'da şimdi ki Ben Kingsley Tiyatrosuna evsahibi olan Pendleton Koleji'nden eğitim aldı. Babası Harji Bhanjisi Kenya asıllı Hintli bir tıp doktoruydu, annesi Anna Lyna Mary kısmen yahudi bir model ve aktristti.

Özel Yaşamı
 
Kingsley'in, dört çocuğu var. Thomas ve Jasmine Bhanji, aktris Angela Morant'la, Edmund ve Ferdinand Kingsley, tiyatro yöneticisi ve oyuncu Alison Sutcliffe'yle olan evliliklerinden oldu. Kısa bir süre önce Alman asıllı Alexandra Christmann ile boşandı. İngiltere Spelsbury'de yaşıyor.
